The Grand Reception

Today Vedant was very happy. It was month of June and he received new books, new uniform, new umbrella, new shoes and yes his new white board. It was his first day of school for the new year and he was very happy as he would meet his friends again after a long vacation.
And indeed he was very happy in the school. After coming back to home he didnt even wait for a second to play with his new whitboard. He used to like to mimic his teacher and write / paint / draw everything on the white board with colorful markers.

But something else was about to happen that day and it was going to change his life. He came home and wanted to write on the board but it was no more white. There were already a lot of scribles on it. And what more, my mistake he had used a permanent marker so the markings wound't get erases. He started writing (now with correct marker) but he was not enjoying it. The existing impressions were too stubborn.

As always his mother came to his rescue. She cleaned the board with spray. And also told a lesson to Vedant.

Our life is also just like this whiteboard. Whenever we start a new thing, meet new person, go in a new environment or just eating food we always have stubborn impressions of memory that create hinderance from enjoying the "New", the "Life". The key is to use the spray and to clean the whiteboard. Only when our whiteboard is clean, we will be receptive to the life. Only then it will be "Grand Reception" and only then we enjoy life , just as Vendant enjoyed writing again after using the spray.

But what is this spray.Yoga (And may other practices like Hoponopono) have given us the answer. The spray is made up of 3 things. Forgive, Thank you, I love you. Before meeting a person if we say this many times (50) to the person we cleanse the whiteboard and will be more receptive to him. When we start eating if we are thankful to God (or that creator) then we cleanse ourselves and then we will be more receptive the food. That is the reason in all the cultures there is a practice to say thank you on the dining table.

Now next time you want to enjoy something New (or for that matter life) cleanse yourself with the spray and then see the difference yourself.
